Many of us with blemish prone skin will be relieved to know that numerous ingredients to make acne healing masks can be found in your kitchen right now! These simple ingredients are not only cheap and readily available but are also much better for your skin than harsh chemical products. Here are some simple homemade masks:
The first mask for acne seems almost too simple to be true. It contains one ingredient: Pure, raw, organic honey. You don't need to mix it with anything, just spread onto your face and let it sit for 15-30 minutes. You should see excellent results in a few days of consistently doing this.
A second easy mask that works great for clearing up acne is baking soda and water. Just add some water to the baking soda in small amounts and stir until it has a paste consistency. Spread on your face and leave it for about 15 minutes before washing off.
Mask number three consists of egg whites and lemon juice. Crack open an egg and remove the whites into a bowl. Take half of a lemon and squeeze the juice into the egg whites. Beat the egg whites and juice together and then smear onto face. Leave on for 10-15 minutes before washing off.
Another acne mask to try contains yogurt, honey and lemon juice. Take equal parts of honey and plain yogurt and mix together with a dash of lemon juice. Smear onto your face for about 15 minutes and then rinse off.
Lastly, an easy option to treat blemishes (especially in spot treating smaller areas) is to grind up some aspirin tablets. You can smash them with the blunt end of a steak knife or other kitchen utensil. Take the powder and mix with small amounts of water to form a paste. Leave on for at least 10 minutes, up to overnight. The salicylic acid inside the aspirin is what does the trick. Enjoy!
At the risk of stating the obvious, it could be said that a content management system is quite simply - a system that manages content.
However, it is precisely the obviousness of what a CMS is and does, that has created a degree of confusion amongst 'would be' purchases of such a system. Wrapped up in a seemingly harmless statement is enough ambiguity to enable all kinds of products to masquerade as content management solutions.
To fully understand what it is a CMS does, we have to first define a) what it is we are referring to when we talk about content b) what it is we understand under its management and c) what do we mean by a system. At the risk of sounding 'obvious', only when you know what content it is you want to manage can you 'filter' (and I mean filter) through the myriad of options that are available - and not be 'bamboozled' by sales speak into taking the wrong product.
Content is in essence, any type or 'unit' of digital information. It can be text, images, graphics, video, sound, documents, records etc - or in other words - anything that is likely to be managed in an electronic format.
Content Management is effectively the management of the content described above, by combining rules, process and/or workflows in such a way that its electronic storage is deemed to be 'managed' rather than 'un-managed'.
The system itself is definable as a tool or combination or tools that facilitate the efficient and effective production of the desired 'output' using the managed content.
To combine all three, we can say;
A digital pen is an input device which captures the handwriting or brush strokes of a user, and digitizes them so that they may be downloaded to a computer and displayed on its monitor. The data can then be interpreted by handwriting software (OCR) and used in different applications or just as graphics.
A digital pen is generally larger and has more features than a stylus. Digital pens typically contain internal electronics, and have features such as touch sensitivity, input buttons, memory, Bluetooth transmission capabilities, and electronic erasers. Some models can be found on graphics tablets made by manufacturers such as Wacom, while other models are tablet-less, such as those using Anoto technology, which works on paper or other surfaces such as whiteboards. Polyvision sells a product called eno which uses the Anoto dot pattern and digital pen technology.
